This dynamic, two day class will cover all aspects of Medical and Trauma Training for EMS providers of the Advanced and Basic Level. The class is comprised of both lectures and hands-on skill sets, with “real life” scenarios and simulation. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING
Trainees will be subject to physical activity, including lifiting and moving while carrying weighted items. Trainees will also be exposed to low light, strobe lights, loud sounds and bangs, and smoke simulations.
There will be photography and videography present during class.

The AMU K9 Handler Class: Mastering Medical & Trauma Care for Working Dogs equips handlers with essential skills to save lives in the field. Through engaging lectures, hands-on practicums, and realistic scenarios, participants will learn to assess, treat, and manage medical and trauma emergencies specific to working K9s. This comprehensive training ensures handlers are prepared to provide critical care when it matters most.
